Learn Mindfulness or Alexander Technique with me

I chose to work with these two mindful approaches because I’ve always been interested in the ways that we can take a more proactive approach to our own well-being.  I love that they offer a kind and friendly way of working with habits, pain/stress/anxiety or other challenges

This work helps me to make better choices in my day-to-day life as well as enabling me to work in a heart-centred way with my pupils and clients.  I love that this work is about supporting others to thrive and have more say in their own physical, mental and emotional health.  It’s not about trying to be perfect, it’s about being more real, more alive and discovering the ease that is available to us in any moment

My qualifications and experience

I spent 3 years training to teach the Alexander Technique, qualifying in 2008 (MSTAT).  I then spent a further 3 years training in Mindfulness Based Approaches with Bangor University, Breathworks and Exeter University.  I adhere to the Good Practice Guidelines for Teaching Mindfulness Based Courses and the professional standards required by STAT, the largest professional association of Alexander teachers worldwide

As a teacher of both the Alexander Technique and Mindfulness, I can work with you in a number of ways, using gentle and effective techniques and practices to help you feel more flexible, balanced and at ease

Both practices help to calm the nervous system and encourage a more ‘in the moment’ awareness.  This is really useful if you experience anxiety, tension headaches, insomnia or if you find yourself over-reacting

We can work one-to-one or in a group, online or face to face.  Sessions can be tailor-made to suit your needs
