I offer mindfulness sessions and courses for individuals and groups based in Saltash, with participants attending from Plymouth and across Devon and Cornwall. Sessions are available in person or online
Mindfulness is a powerful practice that can help you cultivate greater awareness, presence and balance in your daily life.ย It offers a way of re-connecting mind, body and heart (so often disconnected in our busy lives).ย ย With practice, we find that we can learn to meet our experience with less judgement
That means, when things get stressful, busy, scary or uncertain, we feel more resourced.ย When we feel more resourced, we can see more options.ย Weโre more likely to be able to meet lifeโs challenges without losing our cool.ย And, if we do lose our cool, itโll be easier for us to find it again
However well or badly our lives appear to be going, we can all face difficulties.ย Life is often unpredictable and things donโt always go the way we would like them to.ย We canโt change that but we can change what we do when this happens.ย This is where mindfulness comes in.ย It helps us to see (in a very gentle and non-judgemental way) how our habitual reactions to things we donโt like or donโt want, contribute to feelings of stress, anxiety, worry, disappointment and sadness.ย Mindfulness helps us to see that we can choose a different response if we want to โ one that doesnโt create or increase these feelings
