This course combines practices and principles from conventional Alexander Technique, Primal Alexander and Mindfulness

Practical, gentle and effective.  Together we will explore how you may be unknowingly preventing ease (in mind or body) and we will begin the process of interrupting these habits.  Learning to be more present and aware and allowing our natural ease and co-ordination to emerge.  It is best seen as an exploration of how we use our minds and bodies and how this affects us

Who is it for?

The programme is offered to anyone over the age of 18.  Anyone can benefit from finding more ease in their lives, either in mind or in body.  You may or may not be experiencing the following: difficulty coping with stress; unable to ‘switch off’; back, neck or joint pain; posture issues; tension headaches; confidence issues, trouble sleeping, anxiety/worry thoughts; over-reacting

The practicalities:

The programme is offered on a one-to-one basis and can take place either face-to-face (with Covid restrictions) or online via Zoom.  There is an initial 30 minute welcome/getting to know each other session.  We can then diary in some dates and times for the 6 week programme.  Each session is approx 1 ½ hours long.  There will some home practice for you to do between sessions
