I know how effective the principles of the Alexander Technique and Mindfulness are but, up until now, I have always taught them separately.  I have now brought them together to create this exciting new course combining practices and principles from conventional Alexander Technique, Primal Alexander and Mindfulness

The course is practical, gentle and effective.  Together we will explore how you may be unknowingly preventing ease (in mind or body) and we will begin the process of interrupting these habits.

Who is it for?

The programme is offered to anyone over the age of 18.  Anyone can benefit from finding more ease in their lives, either in mind or in body.  You may benefit if you are experiencing any of the following:

  • feeling stressed
  • unable to ‘switch off’’
  • back, neck or joint pain
  • problems with posture or balance
  • tension headaches
  • lack of confidence
  • trouble sleeping
  • anxiety/worry thoughts
  • over-reacting

The practicalities:

The programme  can take place either face-to-face (with Covid restrictions) or online via Zoom.  For one-to-one students, we will have an initial 30 minute welcome/getting to know each other session.  We can then diary in some dates and times for the 6 week programme.  Each session is approx 1 ½ hours long.  There will some home practice for you to do between sessions.
